Who we are
GamersGrange.com is a tabletop game and venue discovery service operated by Luvin Entertainment LLC. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
You can reach us at any time at GamersGrange1@gmail.com with questions about this policy or your information.
What we collect
- Account details. When you sign in with Google or Discord, we receive the basic profile those services share with us, such as your email address and display name.
- Your preferences. The answers you give during setup, such as the kinds of games you enjoy, when you are usually free to play, and your experience level.
- Approximate location. If you choose to share it, your ZIP code, so we can suggest venues near you. If you press ‘Near me’, we use your device location once, only for our own venue search. It is neither saved nor sent to Google.
- Feedback. Ratings and comments you choose to leave about recommendations.
- Usage information. If you accept analytics cookies, we collect privacy-safe information about how you move through the site, such as which pages you visit and which buttons you use. We never collect the text you type, your identity, or your exact address through analytics.
How we use your information
- To recommend a tabletop game we think you will enjoy, and a reviewed venue where you can play it.
- To remember your preferences so you can update them instead of starting over.
- To understand, in aggregate, how the service is used so we can improve it.
- To respond when you contact us.
What we never do
- We never sell your personal information.
- We never send the free-text game names you type to any AI service; only reviewed, approved game data is used for recommendations.
- We never include your name, email address, or precise location in analytics or in any request to an AI provider.
- We never recommend age-restricted venues to players under 18.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics (through Google Tag Manager) to understand how the service is used. These tools load only after you explicitly accept analytics cookies through our consent banner. If you decline, no analytics or advertising cookies are set.
You can change your choice at any time by clearing your browser's stored data for this site and answering the banner again.
Services we rely on
Each of these services processes information under its own privacy policy.
- Supabase hosts our database and sign-in services.
- Google provides sign-in, analytics, and the optional venue maps, which load only when you choose to view them.
- Discord provides sign-in if you choose it.
- Affiliate partners may pay us a commission if you buy through a link on our site, at no extra cost to you.
Your choices and rights
- View and update your saved preferences at any time on your Profile page.
- Ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct or delete your account and preferences by emailing GamersGrange1@gmail.com.
- Decline analytics cookies and still use the full service.
Google Places and location search
Google supplies place suggestions for signed-in players. What you type in the landmark or neighbourhood search is sent to Google to find those suggestions. The public ZIP search does not use Google.
Google details on venue pages are fetched live only when a signed-in player presses ‘Show Google details’ and are labelled as Google's, separately from our approved venue information. We do not cache, save or copy Google's ratings or photos. Photo author credits and links remain visible.
‘Near me’ uses your device location once, only for our own venue search. Your device location is neither saved nor sent to Google.
We keep anonymous counts of landmark searches by rough area, with nothing that identifies a person. These are separate from consent-gated analytics, which never receive your search text, coordinates or results.
California section legal review
The CCPA/CPRA section below is flagged for legal review, including its sensitive-information and precise-geolocation statements in light of the optional ‘Near me’ search. The existing California rights wording has not been rewritten.
California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, gives you the following rights regarding your personal information:
- Right to know. You can ask what categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, where it came from, why we use it, and who we share it with.
- Right to delete. You can ask us to delete the personal information we hold about you, subject to legal exceptions.
- Right to correct. You can ask us to correct inaccurate personal information.
- Right to opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of. Analytics load only with your consent, as described above.
- Right to limit sensitive information. We do not collect sensitive personal information as defined by the CPRA, and we never collect your precise geolocation.
- Right to non-discrimination. We will never treat you differently for exercising any of these rights.
How to exercise your California rights
Email GamersGrange1@gmail.com with the subject line “California privacy request” and tell us which right you want to exercise. We will verify your identity using the email address on your account before acting, and we will respond within 45 days as the law requires.
You may use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf; we will ask for proof of the agent's authority and may still verify your identity directly.
In the past 12 months we have collected the categories of personal information described in “What we collect” above, used them for the purposes described in “How we use your information,” and disclosed them only to the service providers listed in “Services we rely on.” We have not sold or shared personal information for monetary or other valuable consideration.
